Dan and Denae’ said their vows to each other on one of the hotter days this summer up at Ritter Farms near Cle Elum, WA. The day was absolutely beautiful, and we all managed to avoid the flurry of summer forest fires that were heading through the area at the time. Time flew by, even in the heat, and even in the rush of all the preparations, the running back and forth to make sure everything was perfect, the ceremony and celebration were absolutely beautiful. I almost always tear up during ceremonies, and this one was no exception. The love that Dan and Denae’ have for each other was so apparent, and it was a privilege to be a part of their day. Denae’s sister-in-law, Kaylee, of Kaylee Eylander Photography, did much of the photography for the wedding, even while acting as a bridesmaid!
This wedding was truly the poster-child for the quintessential wedding Pinterest board. Mason jars, popcorn, vintage cameras, and a super-awesome photo-booth were all just some of the gorgeous and well-thought-out details. Denae’ did all the Goodwill and thrift store shopping to find all the unique pieces and decorations for her beautiful day at a great price. Fun detail: the bride and groom’s cake was even set up on a cake-stand inside an open vintage suitcase, and there was a vintage, teal upright piano in the field for the ceremony! To the right is a photo I took with a vintage Yashica 35mm film camera of the beautiful couple with the teal piano. Below is a still from the highlight video…one of my absolute favorites!
